We have just returned from a two week stay at this villa. we found it to be very clean and well equipped. The pool is also very clean and private with a lockable gate for families with small children. There were small problems with fuses tripping and odd smells ocassionally coming from the drains but this is normal in the Algarve and did not pose any major problems.
Carvoeiro itself is a five minute drive away and full of various restaruants to cater for everyones needs. There is also a family run restaruant a five minute walk away if you don't feel like driving.
Lagoa is ten minutes away and Silves about twenty.
A visit to Silves castle and cathedral is a beautiful way to spend a few hours.
We have to mention Alfred and Joanne who live nearby and clean and maintain the pool and villa, they are very friendly and helpful and when we had a problem with the safe Alfred had it removed and a new one in place by lunchtime.
We have stayed in many villas across the Algarve but while this would not be one of the most luxurious it certainly provided us with one of our most relaxing holidays there.
And finally a mention for Galia who was on hand to assist us if we needed it.
We would recommend this villa for anyone looking for a quiet relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of it all.
