Enjoyed a very pleasant stay in Aug 2008. Lots of room for everyone (6 adults, 4 children between 9 & 16) Villa is 10 min drive to the beaches on a country road this is why it is called quiet. Car hire essential! Kitchen well equipped lots of cutlery & plates,washing machine,dishwasher!
Children's area at villa good. Kids played in the pool and made a lot of noise! Carvoeiro is a small seaside town with lots of restaurants and small shops. Because of our numbers we mostly cooked at the Villa and found Intermarche Supermarket on the main Lagoa to Carvoeiro had brillant selection of local meat,fish,fruit& veg as well as things we would have found at home. We visted the Splash and Slide park not Aqualand as we were told the slides were larger! Until October 08 you can see the Sand Sculptures directions are sign posted everywhere you go and well worth visit especially at night when lit. This is the first time we had travelled to Portugal it is very quiet and you need to travel around to see the countryside. Local people are very friendly and weather was fantasic. Property is highly recommended!
