Built in typical Moorish style, the Paraiso Country Club is situated about 1 km from the beach of Praia do Carvoeiro, scattered on a large area of 300,000m2 in the midst of well kept gardens with an abundance of tropical plants. In only 10 to 15 minutes walking you can reach picturesque village of Carvoeiro.

Clube Q is the mini-paradise for the younger guests. From the age of 4 years up to 12 years, there are special sports and entertainment activities. The Animation Team is in action several days per week during the season.

Four Tennis Courts are in the heart of the resort. Tennis teachers are available upon request through the reception.

PADI Diving Center run by the Navy-trained professional diver Stefan Fend and his wife has an excellent reputation and has recently been awarded with the PADI Gold Award.

TV Lounge is a tranquil comfortable room to watch some television, read a book or play cards.

Garden chess, billiards, darts, volleyball, French bowls, table tennis, mini-golf, open-air-stage.

Restaurant 'Do Gil' serves buffet breakfast and dinner. There are special theme nights, such as Italian, Spanish and, of course Portuguese night with the traditional barbecue followed by the folklore show (high season).

Pizzeria is centrally located in the heart of the resort. It offers Italian dishes such as Pizza and Pasta, as well as international specialties.

Caravela Pool Bar is overlooking the entire pool area and is a comfortable place to meet and have a cold drink or snack during the day.

Rabelo Bar is the place where the Animation and the entertainment take place.

Veleiro Pool Bar offers the full variety of alcoholic and soft drinks as well as hot and cold snacks and ice creams.

The Club also offers free transport to the main town centre 3 times a day. The walk to Carvoeiro town is about 10 minutes along the cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
