SLIDE AND SPLASH
The name says it all – a day of sliding down the Kamikaze or the Black Hole and splashing in the Olympic sized pool. The park is good for children of all ages, particularly excellent for the little ones.
With over 25,000m of grass areas there is plenty of room for everyone, even at the height of the season. If you’re not inclined to try the slides you can relax in the shade of a palm tree, enjoy a leisurely swim in the Olympic sized pool or sit back in the jacuzzi.
There are lots of slides to choose from – the more adventurous Kamikaze, Bonzai and Black Hole, to the slightly less daunting plunge pools and wide lane slides. The children´s area is great - 1200m of fun – with a water spitting dragon, elephant slides, tunnel slides and wide lane slides.
There are several kiosk selling snacks, ice creams and drinks and a self-service restaurant. There is a first aid post, just in case. The park is clean and well maintained and each slide has its own lifeguards. You can hire out sun loungers, parasols and lockers if you wish.
It is located near Lagoa. Travelling along the EN 125, from Portimão to Lagoa, at the first roundabout take the first exit sign posted to Estombar and Slide and Splash. Follow the road passing a small petrol station and roundabout. Slide and Splash is on your left.
From 10am until 6pm, Slide and Splash is opened every day.
